We are a successful fashion e-commerce retailer that is revolutionizing the way women shop for apparel. The company is led by experienced industry veterans who have worked in senior management roles at MAC Cosmetics/Estee Lauder, Saks Fifth Avenue, NBC/iVillage, and Yahoo. We represent over 200 brands in women's fashion apparel and accessories -- and are expanding at an explosive rate. In this role you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new marketing team to drive online programs that will continue to take the company to new levels of success. As a part of this team your ideas and input will be valued and your hard work truly appreciated. You will need the skills and attitude to do it all as we do not have immediate support staff at this time.

We work as a cohesive team to make it all happen, and your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing Affiliate network managing program, outreach and tracking
  • Managing our ongoing SEM/PPC programs optimizing targeted traffic for new member acquisition
  • Driving organic traffic to website, achieving improved SEO rankings, developing inbound links and managing content creation.
  • Managing Comparison Shopping program management and tracking
  • Supporting site acquisition programs, media and shopping portals
  • Social media program management
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have significant online marketing experience with a major website. This is very much a hands-on generalist role and the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of internet marketing along a "can-do", service-oriented attitude as you concurrently juggle multiple projects and deliver to schedule and performance expectations on a consistent basis.

What Else You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Online Manager position for a large online B2C with 3 of those years being responsible for running affiliate programs and other online programs.
  • Highly motivated, do-it-yourselfer who thrives in a very fast-paced start up environment. Happy to roll up your sleeves and dive in to any task large or small, simple or complex. Ability to be professionally proactive to push programs forward.
  • A performance based, metrics driven high achiever who strives to 'one-up' yourself but not others.
  • Internet program expert with an understanding of web analytics and deep knowledge and performance based experience in the area of web marketing
  • An online specialist with a deep understanding of metrics with a minimum of 3 years of Webtrends, Omniture, or Google Analytics experience.
  • Proven talent for being on top of all new online acquisition and member programs.
  • Track record of large website performance of running all the above programs with proven results.
  • Experience with Commission Junction or other affiliate programs.
  • Expert Excel skills and reporting
Preferred but not required:
  • An MBA.
  • Team management/supervisory experience.
